Our story
Djondjon, a flavor that brings people together.
In Haiti, djondjon holds a special place. Its aroma belongs to Sunday meals, weddings, baptisms and large family gatherings. Enjoyed across society, this mushroom has become a symbol of sharing and unity.
Abroad, finding that taste in a practical product true to its roots remained difficult. Too many available options favored processing and shelf life over the original flavor.
SELAKAY grew from that purpose: offer an easier-to-use alternative made with carefully selected ingredients while preserving the spirit of Haitian cuisine.
